Week beginning 7th January

This week I have created my blogger account. I have started to make all the pages so that my blog looks presentable.  I did this so my work could be uploaded onto my blogger and easily accessed.

 
Week Beginning 14th January

I have started to analyse magazine front covers, double page spreads and contents page's from big established magazine companies. I have done this so that I can figure out what are good and bad about it. This helps us get ideas for our magazines and to know what will and won’t work.

 
Week Beginning 21st January

This week I started to research into my magazine audience. This was so i could find out what type of music genre magazine matches different age groups and genders.I did this through a questionnaire that I created on survey monkey; I sent it out to my peers in my class and took their replies into consideration as to what would go well with my magazine.This gave me an idea of what genre would be good for my target market group and what would go best.
 

Week Beginning 28th January

This week I started to design drafts for my magazine I took into account all the research that i gathered and I started designing my front cover, contents page and double page spread onto paper.

Week Beginning 4th February

By the end of the week they should all be complete. I feel that I just need to draft them enough so i know how I’m going to lay it out when I start my work on the computer on Photoshop.

Week beginning 11th February

I started to take test shots this week with the character that I am going to be using. We used different outfits and experimented with different props and different things to show the genre in my pictures.

Week Beginning 18th February

This week I took my final photos for my magazine, using the correct clothes, props and environment which go with my genre of magazine.

 Week beginning 25th February

This week I started on my final front cover on Photoshop making them it as good and professional as I possible could. When I finished this I started moving on to my double page spread and contents page.

Week Beginning 4th March

This week I started to work on my evaluations, I look at all of my finals pieces of work and thought really hard on how I could improve these and make them better in any possible way.
